Available Opportunity
We currently have one Permanent Part Time position available to join our Fitness Team:
- 15 hours per week, Tuesday 5.30am-11.00am, Wednesday 5.30am-11.00am, Friday 6.00am-11.00am

Here’s What You’ll Be Up To......
- Positively engaging with members in the gym and providing health and fitness advice.
- Designing and delivering personalised fitness programs and exercise plans.
- Supporting the implementation of the Ripples Member Retention Strategy to enhance member experience and satisfaction.
- Proactively supervising the gym floor to maintain a safe environment for members, customers, and staff.
- Prescribing appropriate exercise programs for a diverse range of customers and fitness levels.
- Assisting members with their fitness goals through ongoing guidance, motivation, and support.
- Contributing to a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused gym environment.

What are we looking for?
- Someone who has a genuine passion for helping people achieve fitness goals
- Enjoys working in a supportive team environment and contributing to team goals
- Demonstrates respect, accountability and innovation and is motivated to make positive impact in our diverse community
- Holds current personal training qualification or tertiary qualification in related field
- Current AUSactive Professional registration or equivalent
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
The must-know bits
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, to progress through the recruitment process.

Requirements
Essential
- Current Personal Training qualification or tertiary qualification in a related field
- Current AUSactive Professional Registration or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable
- Group Fitness qualification
- Older Adults trainer qualification
- Children/Adolescents trainer qualification
- Strength & Conditioning Accreditation
- Nutrition Accreditation
