We are currently seeking an experienced Gold Processing Manager to join our team on an 8/6 roster at our Laverton Processing Plant. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the operational readiness phase of a new operation, where you will have the ability to influence systems, processes, and the overall operating philosophy before production commences.

As Gold Processing Manager, you will lead and manage all processing plant operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant production of gold. You will be accountable for delivering production, recovery, throughput, and cost targets while driving operational performance, developing high performing teams, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

As the Gold Processing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and procedures that optimise plant performance, maximise metallurgical recovery, and support continuous improvement across all processing activities.
• Manage and develop processing personnel, supervisors, metallurgists, and laboratory teams, fostering a high performance culture focused on safety, accountability, operational excellence, and workforce capability.
• Monitor and control plant performance, including crushing, grinding, leaching, gold recovery, tailings management, and reagent consumption, ensuring production objectives are consistently achieved.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance, technical services, geology, mining, and commercial teams to ensure effective planning, resource utilisation, operational readiness, and long-term business success.

About You

• Extensive experience in gold processing operations, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve production, recovery, safety, and cost performance targets within a mining environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of gold processing circuits, including crushing, grinding, gravity recovery, CIL/CIP operations, elution, electrowinning, gold room activities, tailings management, and process control systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop high-performing teams, drive accountability, and foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Sound commercial and operational acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, production planning, performance reporting, risk management, and business improvement initiatives.
• Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, supported by a strong understanding of Western Australian mining regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and safety management systems.
