What's the role?
News Xtend is seeking an experienced Performance Manager to join the News Xtend Digital Trading team. This role focuses on the tactical planning, implementation and activation of Paid Search campaigns. You will help to leverage the relevant DSPs and ad platforms to execute successful performance based campaigns that work towards individual client goals and expectations.
You’re passionate about the broader media industry and will be a key player in the output of the Xtend Digital Trading team. You enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with others to solve problems and deliver exceptional work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Execute bid and buy strategies primarily across a combination of paid social, search, and programmatic mobile, video and display channels, adhering to News Xtend’s client performance and pricing guidelines
- Lead the tactical planning, implementation, and optimisation of programmatic, paid social,and search campaigns, tailoring solutions to individual client needs to ensure full budget delivery and alignment with client KPIs.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to bid and buy strategies, integrating automation and AI to drive performance and efficiency.
- Drive campaign success by ensuring full delivery and adherence to performance SLAs.
- Produce robust post-campaign analysis and clearly demonstrate, using data via DSP tools ,how News Xtend’s bid and buy strategies improved performance.
- Offer technical support, troubleshoot underperforming or under delivering campaigns and discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service and support to strengthen client relationships and meet retention goals
- Identify and justify budget scaling and upsell opportunities
Who are you?
- Minimum 2 year of experience working across Paid Social, Search and/or Programmatic buying platforms.
- Have experience managing search, social and/or programmatic campaigns across Google Ads
- Ability to manage complexity, quickly determine critical data, and solve problems systematically to improve campaign performance.
- The ability to develop, lead, and delegate discipline-level projects (e.g., platform audits, supply-path optimisation).
- High attention to detail, capable of refining and implementing strategies tailored to each client efficiently. Intricate, advanced understanding of platform nuances.
- Ability to manage complexity, quickly determine critical data, and solve problems systematically to improve campaign performance.
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude. You enjoy bringing new ideas to the business and eager to find opportunities to refine and scale performance for your clients.
