Churches of Christ is seeking a confident and values-led Service Manager to lead Homesteads Aged Care, our 41-bed residential aged care service in Nerang.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee the overall performance, operations and culture of the service, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality and person-centred care.

About The Role

As Service Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership across the service, creating a positive environment where residents feel supported, employees feel valued and quality care remains at the centre of every decision.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure the service continues to meet operational, clinical, financial and regulatory expectations.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead all aspects of service operations, including care delivery, workforce planning, culture and performance.
  • Ensure high standards of clinical care, resident experience and person-centred practice.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation standards, legislative requirements and organisational policies.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, occupancy and operational targets.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees and the local Nerang community.
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, promoting accountability, collaboration and a positive workplace culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on safety, quality and resident outcomes.

About You

You are a capable, calm and commercially aware leader who understands the complexity of residential aged care. You know how to balance care quality, compliance, workforce needs and financial performance while keeping residents and families at the heart of the service.

You bring strong people leadership skills, sound judgement and the ability to create a culture where teams feel supported to deliver their best.

To Be Successful, You Will Bring

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in health, business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, including recent leadership experience in aged care, health administration or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing service operations, budgets, resources and performance targets.
  • Strong understanding of residential aged care standards, funding, accreditation and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Well-developed communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A genuine commitment to quality care, safety, continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to meet Responsible Person obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024.
