Holbury Children’s Centre is a small, caring, not for profit community kindergarten set within a beautiful park side location in Blackburn South. The operations of our kindergarten is proudly overseen by a dedicated parent committee, who together with our passionate educators, focus on creating a warm and supportive atmosphere for our children and families. One of our distinctive characteristics is that we offer a blended age 3 & 4-year-old kindergarten program where our children play and learn together.

Holbury Kindergarten Lunch Cover Role - Commencing Term 3 2026 Are you passionate and seeking to work a small number of hours in a friendly community environment? Holbury Children’s Centre is looking for a Lunch Cover Educator to work 6 hours per week (3 hours over both Monday and Wednesday each week) for Term 3 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a warm, community-focused kindergarten that values collaboration, inclusion, and the wellbeing of both children and educators. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Educator to join our team to provide lunch cover twice per week, over the hours of 12 - 3pm on Monday and Wednesday for Term 3 2026. You will have the chance to work alongside our Early Childhood Educators and collaborate as a team to deliver an engaging, high-quality program aligned to the Victorian Early Years Framework and National Quality Framework. About the role About you. * Early Childhood qualification (Diploma or Certificate III) as recognised by ACECQA and prior experience in Early Childhood education. * Excellent knowledge, skills and understanding of both the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. * Proven ability to work in a cohesive team environment. * Demonstrate personal values aligned with Holbury Children’s Centre community values * Proven skill and experience in working in an early education and care setting * Current WWC check or VIT Registration * First Aid Level 2 / CPR training As a member of the Holbury Children’s Centre team you will: * Be an integral part of our community, and a proud not-for-profit organisation that has a legacy of operating in the local community for more than 50 years * Have the opportunity to deliver a flexible, play-based program in a friendly & supportive environment * Take home a competitive salary, as per Victorian Early Childhood Teachers & Educators Agreement 2020 (VECTEA) * Have free on-site parking Interested in applying?
