Manager, Organisational Development & Early Careers

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Organisational Development & Early Careers to join our People & Culture team on a 6 month parental leave backfill and help shape the future of our workforce.
This role partners with leaders and teams across Wellways to strengthen workplace culture, capability and employee experience, while leading our early careers programs and pathways.
You will bring your expertise in organisational development, leadership capability, employee experience and workforce development to design and deliver initiatives that enable our people and teams to thrive.
About this role
You will play a key role in building a future ready workforce by partnering with leaders to strengthen capability, team culture and performance through coaching, development initiatives and practical tools.
- Lead the implementation of Peakon (staff survey instrument and function within Workday system) and support organisation readiness as surveys are conducted
- Support the implementation and launch of Wellways capability framework
- Lead our 2026 performance reviews and objective setting activity
- Support the facilitation and delivery of Wellways internal leadership development program
- Conduct team culture workshops for new and establishing teams
About you
You are an experienced organisational development professional who thrives on building capability, strengthening culture and creating meaningful employee experiences. You are confident partnering with leaders, facilitating conversations and turning workforce insights into practical solutions.
- You are a relational leader that can create quick rapport with others and bring a collaborative approach to your work.
- You are comfortable in being strategic in bringing concepts to life as well as practical in the application and implementation of those initiatives
- You take time to lead with empathy and curiosity whilst also driving for results and outcomes
- You are comfortable in facilitating workshops to multiple audiences including leadership level
You will also need
- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development or Human Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a related field
- Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Right to Work within Australia
- National Police Records Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - free online course
