Join a major transformation program as a Functional Design Lead – Oracle Inventory & Logistics, where you’ll shape how inventory, warehousing and logistics operate end-to-end.

You’ll act as the bridge between warehouse operations, supply chain stakeholders and our Systems Integrator (SI), ensuring functional designs are clear, scalable and aligned to real-world operations.

About the opportunity

This is a key role in a major Oracle Fusion transformation, leading the end-to-end design of Inventory and Logistics capabilities.

As the Functional Design Lead, you’ll own warehouse, inventory and logistics processes—acting as the link between operations, supply chain stakeholders and the Systems Integrator (SI).

You’ll translate business needs into clear, scalable functional designs, spanning receiving through to shipping, while ensuring alignment across Oracle SCM solutions.

What you’ll be doing

As the Functional Design Lead, you will own and drive functional design across Oracle Inventory & Logistics, including:

  • Lead end-to-end functional design for Oracle Fusion Inventory & Logistics Management
  • Define processes across receiving, putaway, stock control, picking, packing, shipping and transfers
  • Facilitate workshops and produce process flows, functional specs and configuration decisions
  • Drive design governance, alignment and stakeholder sign-off
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Order Management, Shipping and Cost Management teams
  • Support testing, data migration, cutover and go-live
  • Enable operational readiness across inventory accuracy, fulfilment and logistics execution

What you bring

You’re a hands-on functional leader with a strong understanding of inventory, warehouse and logistics processes, combined with the ability to translate operational needs into effective system design.

Essential experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in Oracle Fusion SCM, Inventory, Warehouse or Logistics programs
  • Strong functional design experience across receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping and transfers
  • Experience leading design workshops and producing process flows, functional specifications and configuration decisions
  • Proven experience working with Systems Integrators and cross-functional delivery teams
  • End-to-end delivery exposure across design, build, testing, cutover and go-live
