Position Summary

  • Focus in 3PL management with the ability to assist in all Warehouse Operations
  • Ensure company policies, including health and safety are enforced
  • Ensuring we are complying with 77G Depot Regulations as per ABF requirements
  • Ensuring we are complying with AQIS requirements under AA 1.3 Restrictions
  • Assist with ABF and AQIS Officers during site visits/Audits
  • Licence to Perform High Risk Work required and kept up to date
  • Other Requirements not outlined but as directed by Management.

Key responsibilities:

  • 3PL Operations
  • Correctly receipt cargo into warehouse, checking in to the allocated location
  • Confirm picks and orders are ready for delivery next day
  • Arrange urgent picks when required
  • Monitor new Orders throughout the day
  • Advise office when Orders have been picked and are ready to book transport
  • Arrange booking with transport when time permits
  • Ensure correct orders are dispatched to the correct contractor
  • Complete Stocktake when required

Warehouse Operations:

  • General Airfreight Imports
  • Ensure all cargo scheduled for delivery has been delivered in each day
  • Cargo checked in and matched against manifest
  • Photos taken if damage is noted on cargo.
  • Check ins sent to customs and airfreight team to ensure Outturned within KPIs
  • Ensure high risk cargo is identified and stored in Deadhouse when required
  • Drivers check in at the office prior to entering warehouse
  • Airfreight Units are unpacked as soon as possible
  • Customs HELD/ Quarantine HELD cargo stored in correct locations
  • Re Palletising to be completed where required
  • Monitor Airline Equipment (ULD’s) to ensure returned within timeframe

Import Airfreight Collections

  • Direct drivers to Reception if paperwork has not been retrieved
  • Ensure correct cargo released to drivers based on paperwork
  • Ensure Cheps are swapped as required

Export Airfreight Handling

  • Completing export check in sheet
  • Completing dimensions and weight check ins for accurate information
  • Storing cargo in Export area
  • Correctly labelling cargo and making available for collection
