Join Us as a Community Care Worker – Rural City of Wangaratta

Wangaratta, VIC | Casual Opportunities Available | $41.67ph + super (includes 25% casual loading)

Join our Aged and Community Care team and play a meaningful role in improving the lives of older people across the Wangaratta community. As a Community Care Worker, you'll deliver practical, person-centred support that empowers clients to remain independent, safe, and connected in their own homes.

This is rewarding, hands-on role suited to someone who is compassionate, reliable, and commiteed to delivering high quality care. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, using a wellness and reablement approach that promotes dignity, choice, and quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll provide tailored support that truly makes a difference, including:

  • Personal care and assistance with daily living
  • Domestic support to maintain a safe, comfortable home
  • Respite services to support families and carers

Evert interaction is an opportunity to build trust, promote independence, and enhance wellbeing.

What You’ll Bring

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
  • A caring nature, strong organisational skills, and a genuine desire to make a difference
