Sprout Psychology Melbourne is seeking an experienced psychologist to join our Hawthorn practice under a Contracting / Service Agreement model.

This opportunity is suited to a psychologist who is ready to build or further develop their own private practice within an established, supportive and well-regarded clinical environment.

SPM offers beautifully furnished consulting rooms in central Hawthorn, a strong existing referral base, and an experienced intake and administration team who understand triage, client communication and practice systems.

The current referral demand is particularly suited to clinicians interested in working with adolescents and adults, including neurodivergent clients, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and clients presenting with broader developmental, emotional and mental health needs.

Sprout Psychology Melbourne is a multilingual private practice established in 2019, operating across two Melbourne locations.

We provide psychological assessment and support for children, adolescents, adults and families. Our practice is recognised for culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming care, with a strong focus on learning differences, Autism, ADHD, developmental concerns and emotional wellbeing.

SPM works closely with GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, schools, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams. Our work is grounded in clinical integrity, practical relevance, ethical practice and collaborative care.

We are seeking a psychologist with:

  • General Registration with AHPRA
  • Clinical Psychology or Educational & Developmental Psychology endorsement, or progress toward endorsement
  • A strong clinical foundation in intervention
  • Experience working with adolescents and/or adults
  • Competence in mental health assessment, treatment planning and intervention
  • Experience working with neurodivergent individuals and diverse clinical presentations
  • Strong ethical decision-making and familiarity with professional standards
  • Sound clinical case management, dynamic assessment and risk management skills
  • Familiarity with Medicare, NDIS and systems
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse communities

Commitment to culturally responsive and neurodiversity-affirming practice

Strong interpersonal, written communication and collaboration skills
