About the Role

Part Time - Fixed-Term Contract: 7 July 2026 – 30 March 2027

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative Early Childhood Educator to join our Early Learning Centre. The successful candidate will create a warm, caring, and safe environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Working within a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational programs and experiences that foster children's learning, wellbeing, and development. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education and care.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Knowledge and understanding of the values and principles of the Reggio Emilia approach.
• The ability to meet the individual learning and developmental needs of children.
• A passion for inspiring and motivating children through interest-based projects and engaging learning experiences.
• A strong understanding of and commitment to the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) Code of Ethics.
• The ability to use a range of teaching and assessment practices to engage children and monitor their learning and development.
• A commitment to supporting the wellbeing of all children through nurturing and inclusive practices.
• Alignment with the vision, values, and philosophy of the Early Learning Centre.
• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), together with a current Working with Children Check and satisfactory Police Check.
• A commitment to ongoing professional learning and active participation in relevant professional associations.
