Mechanical Service Technician

As a Mechanical Service Technician, you’ll work hands-on with leading technology, supporting reliability, maintenance, and performance across high-impact industrial operations in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and test seals, couplings, and equipment.
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
- Plan and schedule repairs.
- Collect data to support engineering material selection.
- Prepare repair quotes with documentation.
- Maintain document control systems.
- Support root cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot issues and suggest reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with sales/technical teams on new opportunities.
- Coordinate and attend customer site visits (e.g. oil & gas, mining).
- Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit performance and operational reports.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorised to work in Australia without restrictions.
- Requires a minimum of two years’ experience in servicing, repairing, and testing mechanical seals, couplings, and other rotating machinery.
- Hands-on experience like machining (turning, drilling, milling)
- Strong sense of accountability with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
- Capability to mentor and support team members.
- Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies in the workplace.
