About the role

MSS Security is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to join our team in Cairns.

The successful candidate must hold a current NV1 Clearance and will have the opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment. This position is offered on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.
Manage visitor and contractor access, issue passes, and assist with site entry requirements.
Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.
Conduct foot patrols, record incidents, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate records using computer systems.

Skills & Experience

Must be an Australian Citizen
Must hold a NV1
Certificate II or higher in Security Operations
Current QLD Security licence
Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
Must be available to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions
