We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Manager to help drive the day to day operations of a major community shopping centre in Melbourne's south east. Fresh from a significant redevelopment including a new dining and entertainment precinct, this asset is entering an exciting growth phase, and you will support a broader portfolio of quality retail assets across the region on behalf of our valued client, IFM Investors.
This role is perfect for a retail property professional who loves being visible on the centre floor and wants to make their mark on an asset with real momentum.
In This Role, You Will
- Support the daily operations of the centre, keeping presentation, safety and compliance standards high and resolving issues as they arise
- Build strong relationships with retailers, supporting onboarding, lease administration and compliance with lease terms, and managing arrears
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, social media and community events that capitalise on the redevelopment and drive foot traffic
- Drive casual mall leasing and identify new income opportunities across the centre
- Assist with budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting, with a focus on operational efficiency and centre performance
About You
- You are a customer focused property professional who loves being out on the centre floor as much as behind the numbers.
- Experience in retail property, centre administration or shopping centre operations, with a desire to grow into broader centre management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure
- Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with retailers, customers, contractors and internal teams
- Current Victorian Agent's Representative certificate, or willingness to obtain
