About the Role

The position of Early Psychosis Team Leader: Mobile Assessment Treatment Team (MATT) is a key management position within headspace Adelaide Early Psychosis Program and provides oversight to the coordination and delivery of Mobile Assessment & Treatment services.

The Early Psychosis Team Leader is primarily responsible for assisting, leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the MATT team ensuring that services provided maintain fidelity to the Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Centre (EPPIC) model of care and other relevant guidelines and are delivered in accordance with the headspace philosophy.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, headspace Adelaide, the Team Leader will contribute to the development of innovative, efficient and quality services within the Early Psychosis program.

Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in the development and management of multidisciplinary teams, including the creation of a positive and supportive team.

  • Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement

Qualification and Other Requirements

  • Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline. Including;

    • Social Work

    • Psychology (clinical, counselling, 4+2 and 5+1 pathway)

    • Mental Health Nursing, or

    • Occupational Therapy

  • Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body. Social workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW. Psychologists, mental health nurses, and occupational therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.

  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)

  • Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)

  • Employment is subject to compliance with Sonder’s Immunisation Policy. Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain, all vaccinations and immunisations required for the role.
