- Competitive Salary: Level 4 $88,979.28 (pro rata) per year / $45.03 per hour
- Permanent Part Time / 45 Hours per fortnight
- 12% superannuation + Matched Super contributions up to 5%
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused
Planning & Building Administration Officer to support our Planning and Building team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, an interest in local government processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, coordinating, and processing documentation related to building surveying and town planning
- Managing correspondence and tracking building and planning applications in line with statutory obligations
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all transactions
- Offering clerical, administrative, and technical support across the department
- Conducting research and contributing to project assistance
About You
- Certification IV in Business Administration, or relevant experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in administration (local government experience desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret procedures, policies, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and records management systems
- A high level of customer service and professionalism
