We’re seeking a practical, floor-based Store Manager who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of the business, understands trade customers and products, and can motivate a team to deliver consistently for high-volume trade accounts.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading, coaching and motivating a multi-skilled team in a trade-driven store environment
- Being hands-on on the floor, supporting staff and customers throughout the day
- Overseeing daily store operations including stock flow, merchandising and trade order fulfilment
- Coordinating and managing deliveries, logistics and stock management
- Ensuring strong product knowledge across the team to support trade and builder customers
- Driving operational efficiency, safety standards and sales performance
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, builders, and internal cross functional teams
- Working closely with ownership and leadership to deliver business and operational goals
What we’re looking for
- A sales driven, experienced operational leader who leads by example
- Experience in understanding and analysing financial reporting
- Strong understanding of trade customers, products and supply flow
- Proven ability to motivate, develop and hold teams accountable
- Background in hardware, trade, construction supply or big-box retail (highly desirable)
- Organised, practical and solution-focused with a strong work ethic
- Someone who is committed to sucession planning and building capability for future growth
