Project Management and Project Office for CDI initiatives

  • Drives CDI initiatives and Operational Excellence (OpEx) programs, projects and function in close alignment with the Managing Director (MD) and Care Delivery International (CDI) OpEx considering the strategy, tactics, and objectives
  • Establishes effective and efficient management for assigned projects including project planning, organisation, initiation, execution, monitoring, communication and closing
  • Supports MD for execution of business-critical and cross-functional projects (e.g. operational improvements, new clinics, mergers, relocations, new modality deployments) by taking the required actions to ensure that the projects remain on-time, on-budget and that they deliver the expected results
  • Mentor and assist Area Managers (AM) and other related employees regarding deployment of OpEx projects to achieve their targets
  • Closely collaborates and cooperates with all CD functions within the country and with central CDI functions to implement tactics into operations
  • Drives people development by identifying and coaching talents and ensuring a transparent and participative communication
  • Follows and complies with all relevant FME policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals, and SOPs in the version as amended from time to time (“FME Policies”)

Operational Process and Workflow Improvement

  • Continuously identifies and drives a wide area of operational process and workflow improvements in country CD organization and on clinic level and changes in a future-oriented, solution-oriented, and proactive manner to achieve excellent operations
  • Enables the CD county organization to standardize and improve operational procedures, processes, workflows, infrastructure by the means of coordination, development and implementation of tools and the adaptation of centrally provided contents e.g. the effective implementation of standards and functions
  • Searches for innovative ideas, best practices, experience sharing of operations from clinics to country CDI organization by encouraging others to express their individual point of view
  • Provides training and education on business processes, operational excellence and project management

Clinic Performance Management and Improvement including Staffing

  • Performs analysis for clinic operations, applies root-cause analysis, proposes continuously improvements, and ensures the implementation of actions for patient/treatment growth, reimbursement development, modality mix, efficiency and effectiveness of clinic staffing models, application of standard bill-of-materials, facility and infrastructure costs
  • Supports the country CD organization for developing short- and long-term business strategies and transforming strategy into tactical plans and initiatives with business plans, targets and budget
  • Continuously monitors and organizes operational target achievement and trend reviews and reports results, developing corrective actions where necessary
  • Uses and ensures country deployment and effective usage of performance management process and tools such as CDI Balanced Scorecard and CDI Clinic Portfolio Review to support a culture of continuous performance improvement, engagement and empowerment
  • Mentor and assist Area Managers (AMs) and other related employees regarding clinic performance management processes and tools to achieve the targets
  • Supports operational reporting and coordination on high quality level in due time
  • Closely collaborates with all CDI and G&A functions to identify areas for performance improvement always in line with FME’s quality and safety policies

Qualifications needed for the role

  • Academic degree or equivalent diploma in relevant subject matter
  • Functional related post graduate education (PhD, MBA) is a benefit
  • PMI/PMP or PgMP Certification is a benefit.
  • Work experience in healthcare provider business ideally outpatient care e.g. dialysis care (> 5 years)
  • Experience in project manager with a proven track record of successful delivery of large-scale enterprise-wide projects
  • Strong business analytical and project management skills
  • Leadership skills with the ability to drive collaborative discussions and decisions in a highly matrixed environment
  • Excellent understanding of local healthcare sector as well as pronounced understanding of market and political environment and related interdependencies
  • Experienced in working with profit & loss statements and investment decisions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process; Consistent success in driving teams to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent Project Management and implementation skills; Working knowledge of Agile project management framework preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of dialysis and further medical and pharmaceutical products and services of both FME and competitors as an advantage
  • Understand and use modern communication software and systems
  • Strong IT user knowledge (MS Office, SAP, Intranet etc.)
  • Understand basics of e-health, data security and related topics
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT and digitalization
  • Must be proficient in the use of project management tools to develop schedules, allocate resources, and track progress
