We are looking for a Midweight Designer who combines strong design craft, attention to detail and a passion for bringing ideas to life across retail, experiential and digital environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Midweight Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality creative work across retail, experiential, BTL and digital projects.

This role is suited to someone who is confident taking projects from concept development through to final artwork, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail throughout the process. You will work closely with the Design Director, account managers and wider creative team to produce visually compelling, strategically aligned and production-ready work.

You will play a key role in maintaining creative quality across projects while continuing to develop your creative thinking, technical capability and commercial understanding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATIVE & DESIGN

· Develop creative design solutions across retail, experiential, BTL and digital projects.

· Produce high-quality artwork and design executions that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

· Maintain strong attention to detail across typography, layout, imagery and visual hierarchy.

· Ensure all work is visually engaging, on-brand and executed to a high standard.

FINISHED ART & PRODUCTION

· Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork for a variety of print and digital applications.

· Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure artwork meets specifications and production requirements.

· Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of creative assets.

· Apply a strong understanding of print production, finishes and manufacturing processes.

CONCEPTING & PROBLEM SOLVING

· Contribute to creative development and ideation sessions.

· Translate briefs into clear and effective design solutions.

· Bring curiosity, fresh thinking and creative problem-solving to projects.

COLLABORATION & TEAM CONTRIBUTION

· Collaborate closely with designers, account managers and creative teams.

· Present work internally and confidently communicate design rationale.

· Contribute positively to team culture and creative discussions.

OWNERSHIP & PROCESS

· Take ownership of allocated projects, timelines and deliverables.

· Maintain organised working files and follow internal processes and standards.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

· Help identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and workflows across the design team.

ABOUT YOU

· 3+ years experience in a design role, ideally within an agency environment.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating retail, experiential, campaign and digital design work.

· Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills across Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

· Excellent typography, layout and visual communication skills.

· Strong understanding of artwork preparation and print production processes.

· Experience delivering both conceptual design and finished art.

· Motion design, AI tools or 3D experience is advantageous but not essential.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

· Positive attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
