The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a proactive and energetic Sanitor to join the team based at our industrial bakery in Liverpool, NSW. Reporting to the Sanitation Manager the Sanitor will perform a full range of sanitation functions throughout the bakery to ensure the site's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Available shift

• Tuesday - Friday: 5AM – 1PM Saturday: 6AM - 4PM with flexibility required to work around production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble / re-assemble and sanitise bakery equipment and components
• Complete routine wash downs & wet cleaning as per schedule
• Manage waste removal, mopping, scrubbing, and detail cleaning as directed
• Follow standard Sanitation SOPs and guidelines to complete tasks
• Maintain and accurately complete key documents and reports.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role will be preferred.
• Availability and flexibility to work in a shift environment.
• Food Manufacturing/Industry experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under specific timescales.
• Great work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use initiative
• Physical capacity for heavy lifting of up to 25kg in a safely manner.
