The Position

The Future Students Coordinator plays a key role in driving the University’s student recruitment objectives through the delivery of targeted, data-informed recruitment activities. Working under the direction of the Deputy Manager, Future Students this role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment initiatives across assigned markets, including stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and performance tracking against defined targets. The Coordinator works collaboratively across the University and with external partners to deliver high-quality prospective student experiences, identifying opportunities to enhance conversion, engagement, and market impact.

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic student recruitment professional with a strong understanding of the higher education landscape and student decision-making journey. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders and delivering impactful recruitment activities. They bring strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret data to inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, this individual thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering exceptional experiences that support students from initial interest through to enrolment.

Future Students (Domestic) sits within the International and Future Students portfolio and is responsible for delivering strategies and initiatives that attract and recruit domestic students across all levels of study. The team leads key marketing, communications and engagement activities, including major events, outreach programs and digital campaigns, working closely with stakeholders across the University.

The Education Portfolio supports the University’s mission to deliver exceptional educational experiences and outcomes. It brings together expertise across student recruitment, admissions, student administration and support services to enhance the student lifecycle from enquiry through to graduation.

There are two positions available. The successful candidates will primarily coordinate student recruitment activities across the Sydney or Melbourne regions, including the delivery of events, stakeholder engagement, and market outreach initiatives.

As these markets are a key strategic priority, we are ideally seeking to appoint one candidate based in Sydney and one based in Melbourne. Applicants who are currently located in either city and can demonstrate strong local market knowledge, along with established networks within their region, will be highly regarded. Additionally occasional travel will be required to support similar initiatives in other states across Australia.
