About the Role
As a Trainee Restoration Technician, you will carry out hands-on site work supporting restoration, commercial cleaning and general labouring activities across residential and commercial properties. Working alongside experienced technicians and supervisors, you will assist with site setup, cleaning, equipment handling and basic restoration tasks including water damage clean-ups, waste removal and site preparation, while learning industry skills and safe work practices on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general site labouring, cleaning and restoration support tasks
- Support water damage clean-ups, drying setups and basic remediation works
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties across residential and commercial sites
- Set up, move and maintain equipment and materials on site
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors
- Complete basic job documentation, checklists and site records
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with OH&S requirements
About You
- Experience in labouring, cleaning, facilities or similar hands-on work (preferred)
- White Card and driver’s licence required
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job
- Good physical fitness and comfort working in varied site environments
- Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Positive attitude and customer-focused approach
