The way that your role will make an impact at Ubank is by supporting the delivery of key procurement and sourcing initiatives across the various enterprise domains

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and objectives.
• Lead or support supplier negotiations for medium-complexity contracts, including tender evaluations and contract discussions.
• Deliver cost savings and operational improvements through effective sourcing initiatives and supplier management.
• Provide category-specific insights and technical input to support sourcing decisions and internal stakeholders.
• Advise internal teams on sourcing best practices and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships and support standardization of specifications across categories to leverage economies of scale.
• Stay updated on market trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
• Ensure ethical and compliant procurement practices in line with internal policies and external regulations.

Your Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management preferably in a Banking, Fintech or a large corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience in executing sourcing strategies, supporting policy development, and managing sourcing processes for specific categories.
• Proven ability to lead or support supplier negotiations, tender evaluations, and contract discussions for medium-complexity deals.
• Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings and operational improvements through sourcing initiatives.
• Familiarity with supplier management practices, risk management, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to provide advisory support and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Working knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba,) and understanding of industry best practices
