Job Description
- Hybrid role - 3 days on site - 18 month contract
- Coordinate inbound containerised freight.
- Track vessel ETAs, port congestion, and on-time delivery accuracy
- Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal customer facing stakeholders, and Disitributors.
- Escalate and resolve shipment delays, ASN rejections, and exceptions
- Support performance reporting and KPI tracking for supply chain leadership
- Identify and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to align logistics operations with business goals.
- Maintain a high standard of organisation and efficiency within the logistics department.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Logistics Coordinator (Contractor) Should Have
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations within the FMCG industry.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work in a fast-paced environment.
