About The Role

This role provides specialist commercial support to business units and corporate functions, ensuring effective management of contracts, procurement, and governance processes. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to support customer and supplier engagement, manage risk and compliance obligations, and contribute to commercial best practices. The role also plays a key part in maintaining records, reporting frameworks, and supporting bids and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial support across contracts, procurement, and projects
  • Assist with customer and supplier onboarding and due diligence
  • Support contract lifecycle including drafting, execution, and management
  • Maintain commercial records, registers, and reporting systems
  • Monitor compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Support bids and tenders including risk assessment and approvals
  • Assist with governance, risk, and policy management activities
  • Manage contract variations, claims, and dispute processes
  • Support stakeholder engagement across business units and suppliers
  • Assist with insurance management, reporting, and renewals

Skills And Experience

    • 5+ years experience in commercial, contracts, or procurement roles
    • Experience in Defence or complex regulated environments (desirable)
    • Strong understanding of contracts, governance, and compliance
    • Ability to manage commercial records, reporting, and data
    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience supporting bids, tenders, and contract execution
    • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, or similar
    • Eligible for or able to obtain NV1 Defence Security Clearance
