The Opportunity

An international market leader in industrial infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth across Western Australia’s mining sector.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on developing long-term relationships with major mining asset owners, EPCM consultancies and tier-one contractors. You will engage early in project lifecycles, influence specifications and deliver innovative solutions that improve reliability, safety and productivity across critical infrastructure applications.

Reporting into an experienced leadership team, you will enjoy significant autonomy, strong technical support and the opportunity to shape outcomes on some of Australia’s largest mining projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across a portfolio of major mining clients and project stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with mining asset owners, EPCMs, engineering consultancies and contractors throughout Western Australia.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across greenfield projects, sustaining capital works and maintenance activities.
  • Engage with clients during feasibility, FEED and design phases to influence specifications and secure project involvement early.
  • Deliver value-based solutions, demonstrating benefits through reduced installation time, lower lifecycle costs and improved operational performance.
  • Manage a structured pipeline of opportunities and maintain accurate CRM activity.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and technical specialists to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
  • Monitor project activity, market trends and competitor movements to identify new opportunities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a commercially driven relationship builder with a proven track record selling into complex industrial or mining environments.

You will bring:

  • Experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales within mining, industrial or engineering sectors.
  • Established relationships with mining asset owners, EPCMs and contractors across Western Australia.
  • Strong understanding of capital projects, maintenance environments and specification-based selling.
  • The ability to engage and influence stakeholders ranging from site personnel through to executive leadership teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and a consultative approach to solving customer challenges.
  • A disciplined approach to pipeline management and opportunity development.
  • Engineering, technical or business qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
