Business Development Representative

Austcorp Executive are partnering with a leading company specialising in the design and manufacture of customized heavy mobile equipment for the mining and transport industries.

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Representative to work out of one of their Perth offices. This role will develop and grow their client portfolio in WA and work alongside their senior sales team.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working in the transport, mining or bulk haulage industries in Australia. The team are open to candidates without direct sales experience but have experience working within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities
  • Travel to clients sites throughout Western Australia
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of companies product lines
  • Prepare quotations and sales proposals for internal queries
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

Experience Required

  • Experience working with heavy mobile, fixed plant or industrial equipment in a sales or parts interpreter role
  • Will consider applicants with a strong work ethic and industry experience in other roles (Drivers, Mechanics, Vehicle Body Builder) who are interested in Sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced work environment
  • Experience working with a manufacturing company (Highly Desirable)
