Site ICT Support Officer – Port Lincoln

Location: Port Lincoln, SA 5606 or surrounding areas

Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension

About The Role

This is a hands-on, field-based ICT support role where you’ll be out on the road, travelling between sites across the Eyre Peninsula. This position will consist of on-site configuring network hardware, to coordinating with contractors or providing technical advice to site managers. If you enjoy variety, work well autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Travelling between sites across regional and metropolitan South Australia to deliver ICT infrastructure upgrades and improvements
• Coordinating and undertaking project administration activities to support consistent and secure network infrastructure
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware across multiple locations
• Providing technical administration for the delivery of improved ICT infrastructure
• Liaising with site managers, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate connectivity improvements
• Providing technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to documentation, reporting, audits, and reviews
• Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of ICT processes and solutions

What You’ll Bring

• Experience supporting ICT infrastructure and network services in a Microsoft environment
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities across multiple sites
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a practical, get-it-done attitude
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills as you’ll be dealing with a wide range of people at each site
• Proven ability to pick up new technologies and tools quickly
• Experience with TCP/IP, networking, server and desktop hardware, network peripherals, and mobile devices
• High attention to detail with clear, concise reporting skills
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly
