  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company policies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required.

A Successful Business Development Manager Should Have

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • A proactive, results driven approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage industry knowledge and market insights to drive business growth.
  • Experience developing and delivering compelling business proposals and presentations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and relationship management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • A self-motivated and autonomous working style, capable of achieving results in a part-time capacity.
