Our team works on a diverse range of projects across education, government, health, commercial, residential and community sectors. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organised Business Support Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations.
About the Role
This newly created position will provide administrative support across the business, working closely with our administration and marketing/bid teams.
This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of a business, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and enjoys helping teams stay organised and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
- Provide general administrative support across the business
- Manage shared inboxes and coordinate correspondence
- Maintain electronic filing systems and company records
- Assist with data entry, reporting and record management
- Support the continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes
Finance Administration
- Assist with Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable administration
- Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with reconciliations and finance-related data entry
- Support the finance function with general administrative tasks
Proposal & Marketing Support
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders, bids and proposals
- Maintain proposal templates, project information and supporting documentation
- Assist with capability statements and other business development materials
- Support marketing and promotional activities
General Support
- Work autonomously while managing competing priorities
- Provide support to administration, marketing and management teams
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive workplace culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration, office support or business support roles
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with Xero, payroll or accounting software is desirable
- A professional and positive approach to work
