Design Draftsperson

Bring your advanced ArchiCAD and CGI skills to SHAWOOD by Sekisui House, a premium architectural brand. We are seeking a talented Design Draftsperson to deliver high-quality coordinated drawings, 3D visualisations, and presentation materials for our residential design department in Sydney.

About The Role

As a vital member of the design team, you will take concept designs and transform them into accurate, compliant, and presentation-ready documentation. You will ensure every home reflects the precision and innovation our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, accurate drawings across all design stages from concept to DA/CDC submissions.
• Interpret and apply NSW planning controls, Council DCPs/LEPs, and CDC requirements.
• Deliver advanced CGI imagery, walkthroughs, and presentation materials.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external service providers to facilitate approvals.
• Ensure all documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements.

About You

You are a highly technical draftsperson with a passion for beautiful, human-centric architecture.

Selection Criteria

• Software: Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD and working knowledge of 3D/CGI visualization software.
• Experience: Substantial background in residential drafting and compiling CAD files.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of NSW Council pathways, Complying Development (CDC) provisions, and building codes.
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or Building Design.
• Skills: Exceptional time management, high-end CGI capabilities, and strong presentation skills.
