Contract Administrator

Woods & Co have partnered with a established Melbourne based commercial and industrial builder in the search for an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. With strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high quality projects across the industrial sector, this is an excellent opportunity to work on projects valued up to $30m in a collaborative and well supported environment.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in the successful financial and contractual delivery of projects from commencement through to completion.
The Role
- Managing head contractors and subcontractor agreements
- Preparing scopes of work, tender packages and procurement schedules
- Reviewing subcontractor quotations and letting trade packages
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting
- Processing project budgets, forecasting and cost reporting
- Processing progress claims, variations and payment schedules
- Managing RFI's, contract correspondence and project documentation
- Assisting with project programming and procurement activities
- Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Identifying and managing contractual risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
About You
- 3+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial, industrial or large scale commercial construction
- Exposure to projects valued between $10-$30m
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and project financial management
- Experience preparing and managing tenders, incl subcontractor procurement and pricing will be highly regarded
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
