Full Time Salary $145,869 - $157,696 plus Superannuation (salary based on experience)
About The Opportunity
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced
Throughcare Services Manager to lead a dedicated team, to support individuals transitioning from custody into the community. Based at Ravenhall Correctional Centre, this is a pivotal leadership role which focuses on improving rehabilitation outcomes, reducing reoffending, and enhancing long-term stability for people post-release.
As the Throughcare Services Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of pre and post release support services, ensuring people in our care are assessed, supported and connected with the right services and support, to achieve successful reintegration within the community.

You will:
- Provide operational leadership to the Throughcare Services team and expert advice to the Senior Manager, Rehabilitation and Reintegration and other stakeholders on issues related to Continuum of Care and transition and reintegration
- Responsible for the management of key pathways for reducing reoffending for eligible participants, including housing, substance use, mental health, employment and education.
- Monitor performance to ensure that contractual obligations and Key Performance Indicators are being met, including pathway contracts
- Maintain currency of best practice research and evidence base within the reducing reoffending area, and apply an innovative and continuous improvement approach to the delivery of Throughcare Services
- Ensure that resource allocation within the team is utilised effectively to enable the identification and management of pre and post release needs relating to housing, employment, education, substance use, mental health, and disability support services, to improve transition readiness and community resettlement for men upon release
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships to ensure services are responsive, integrated and outcomes-focused
- Facilitate communication between custodial staff, service providers, and community agencie
- Address barriers to successful reintegration through proactive planning, advocacy and development of service partnerships
- Manage budgetary considerations and be accountable for the performance and delivery of targets relating to the budget
- Coordinate and chair Exit Planning meetings to ensure integrated and coordinated post-release planning for high risk and high need prisoners
- Work closely with identified services within the correctional environment to ensure applicable continuity of service provision upon release

About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader with the ability to inspire professional teams in a complex operating environment. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other related field such as Psychology, Criminology or Community Services; or substantial relevant experience
- Experience in contract management with direct experience in managing governance, compliance and risk.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research and evidence related to positive resettlement and reintegration outcomes for people released from prison, strong understanding of reintegration frameworks and transitional support models.
- Knowledge of intervention pathways and community service systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing service providers and partnerships.
- High-level assessment, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Leadership capability within a custodial or complex service environment.
- Commitment to trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
