Wills And Estates Solicitor

Our highly reputable and well-established law firm in the Sutherland Shire seeks a skilled and motivated solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-admission experience to join our Wills and Estates Team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with two of the firm's Principals: one being our Law Society Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates, and the other bringing extensive experience in this area of law.

Your Responsibilities will include

• Working with our highly skilled paralegals to manage applications for probate and letters of administration.
• Preparing wills, powers of attorney, and enduring guardianships and other estate planning documents.
• Providing advice to clients on all aspects of estate planning and estate administration.
• Assisting one of our Principals in estate litigation matters, including contested wills, Court appointed administrations and administration disputes.
• Conducting legal research and preparing submissions to Counsel.
• Attending mediations, the Supreme Court of NSW and other Tribunals, as required.
• Managing client relationships and providing excellent service.

The Ideal Candidate will demonstrate

• A clear and demonstrable interest in Wills, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation.
• A minimum of 5 years PAE focusing on Wills, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, with experience in Estate Litigation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and LEAP software.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to be a collaborative team player.
