Project Coordinator – Ernie Events

Ernie Events is a dynamic events company specialising in corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, and product launches. We bring big ideas to life, and we're looking for an organised, driven Project Coordinator to join our team and help us do it.

The Role

As Project Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our event delivery — keeping projects on track, teams aligned, and clients confident. From the first brief to the final pack-down, you'll play a hands-on role across every stage of the event lifecycle, working closely with and reporting to our Senior Project Manager.

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Mornington. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, however occasional after-hours and weekend work is required during event periods. Interstate travel may also be required from time to time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication
• Building and maintaining detailed run sheets, project plans, and event documentation
• Supporting the planning and on-site execution of corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, and product launches
• Tracking action items and following up to keep projects moving
• Identifying and resolving issues before they become problems

• Own reliable transport is essential
• Experience in events, project coordination, or a similar field is a plus — but enthusiasm and transferable skills are equally welcome

The Details

• Office-based in Mornington (this is not a hybrid or remote role)
• Full-time, Monday to Friday (Part-time option may be available for the right candidate)
• Occasional interstate travel required
• Salaried position, commensurate with experience
