About Our Client

My client are a global, market-leading manufacturer and solutions provider in mechanical piping systems and infrastructure, renowned for its innovation, engineering excellence, and strong foothold across industrial, construction, and energy sectors. The business has built a reputation for high-quality, time-saving installation solutions and deep technical expertise, supporting complex projects worldwide.

The role covers a diverse range of markets and is responsible for developing and maintaining opportunities and revenue generation across three main industries: Mining, Fire Protection, HVAC & Industrial

  • Drive revenue growth through new opportunities and account development
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline of project specifications within the territory
  • Further develop and expand existing mining sector opportunities
  • Strengthen product specification and engagement with contractors, project managers, designers, and buyers
  • Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers, supporting product selection, service, and profitability
  • Translate sales budgets into clear action plans and measurable targets
  • Maximise territory performance through effective planning, scheduling, and coverage
  • Deliver training and run promotional sessions for specifiers, distributors, and contractors
  • Handle and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Maintain accurate updates in CRM systems
  • Provide regular weekly reports and forecasting
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts

The Successful Applicant

A background in technical/specification sales within the mining or EPCM market is ideal. The position requires an initiative-taking individual with the ability to react to market trends and conditions through a sales oriented hands-on approach. Equally important is an ability to impart a corporate message and technical expertise to the target market as well as the confidence and presence to deliver presentations to small and large groups
