The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and help build scalable, cloud-based data solutions.

You’ll work across a modern stack, delivering end-to-end data pipelines, models, and analytics capabilities, while uplifting data quality and driving automation across the business.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about modern data engineering, cloud platforms, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
  • Ensure data quality, reliability and governance
  • Automate data workflows in a cloud-first environment
  • Troubleshoot and optimise data performance issues
  • Collaborate with BI, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to data platform architecture and best practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Snowflake
    • DBT
    • AWS Serverless Data Lake Framework
  • Advanced SQL and data modelling skills
  • Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines
  • Experience working in cloud-based data environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • 4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI

Nice to Have

  • Power BI or Tableau experience
  • Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practices
  • Experience with GitLab or similar platforms
  • Domain experience in finance, retail, or supply chain
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Snowflake)
