About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. It has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The Administrative Support Officer position is responsible for supporting the MADU manager and the rostering and payroll officers to deliver a comprehensive customer focused service to junior medical officers, as well as providing general administration support. This includes taking a proactive role in actioning, tracking and auditing the compliance of the overtime and rostering management of medical staff to ensure that MADU meets the award requirements and maintains appropriate records.
For one day a week you will work within the Medical Administration Unit at The Canterbury Hospital processing unrostered overtime claims and other administrative tasks within the Unit.

Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including customer service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to produce documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in an area such as HR or payroll, ideally including an understanding of medical workforce issues.
Available to work Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5:00pm).7
