What you'll be doing

Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You

You present yourself as a capable and committed nurse who brings both professionalism and compassion to every patient interaction. You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and you draw on well‑developed clinical skills that suit the demands of both outpatient services and acute hospital environments. You approach patient care with confidence, using your clinical problem‑solving abilities to ensure each person receives safe, thoughtful and effective treatment.

You communicate clearly and purposefully, whether you’re documenting care, using digital systems, or engaging with patients, families and colleagues. Your interpersonal communication style supports trust and teamwork, and you contribute meaningfully to a multidisciplinary environment where coordinated, outcome‑focused care is essential.

You manage your workload with intention, planning and prioritising care so that patients experience continuity and support throughout their journey. You’re adaptable and dependable, participating in a seven‑day rotating roster that includes nights and public holidays, demonstrating your commitment to service and your ability to perform consistently across varied shifts.
