WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR ?

Enaex Australia is seeking experienced and motivated Drill & Blast Technical Support professionals to join our EMTS team.

This is a hybrid technical role combining on-bench support, customer engagement, training, and drill & blast optimisation, suited to candidates across a range of experience levels — from strong field technicians through to senior specialists.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver technical advice, blasting improvements, training, and innovative solutions, helping drive performance and strengthen long-term relationships.

Depending on your experience, you may also take on a more senior role in mentoring, leading technical initiatives, and supporting regional business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-bench technical support across drill and blast operations
  • Deliver training on electronic initiation systems and Enaex technologies
  • Offer technical advice and blasting optimisation recommendations to customers
  • Audit blasting practices and identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Build strong technical relationships with customers and site teams
  • Support equipment preparation, testing, and deployment onsite
  • Contribute to training material development and continuous improvement initiatives

At a more senior level, you may also:

  • Lead technical projects and represent Enaex in customer engagements
  • Mentor and develop less experienced team members
  • Support business growth through technical expertise and customer influence
  • Contribute to strategic technical planning and innovation initiatives

Ideally you will have;

  • Experience in drill & blast or technical mining environments
  • Current Shotfirer licence with hands-on experience
  • Experience with electronic initiation/detonation systems
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring (highly regarded)
  • A proactive approach to learning, innovation, and problem-solving
