We are looking for an experienced Service Repairs Manager to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria .
This permanent role reports to the Service Sales & Operations (VIC & TAS) and is responsible for leading a field-based Service Repairs team across the Victorian portfolio.
About You
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines service repairs management with end-to-end project delivery , including Upgrade and Modernization work.
You will oversee work from planning through to execution, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes for customers while driving business performance.

Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the Service Repairs team, overseeing both day-to-day repair activity and project delivery
Deliver repair and upgrade works as an integrated function, including planning, execution, and completion of projects
Manage project scope , schedules, budgets, procurement, labour, and subcontractors to achieve operational and financial targets
Drive team and individual KPIs including sales, margins, labour hours, and productivity
Provide coaching, mentoring, and development to field employees to improve performance and capability
Ensure safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture across all activities
Partner with Sales teams to support estimating, customer engagement, and growth opportunities
Oversee quality through inspections, audits, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to standards and customer requirements
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and legislative requirements
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, consultants, and suppliers
Support operational needs such as duty supervisor roster and peak workload management.
What you will need to be successful
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams within a construction, service, or trades environment
Have an Electrical/Mechanical license or trade qualification (desirable) with a Trade background (lift industry experience highly regarded)
Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
Strong leadership capability with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams
Sound commercial and financial acumen with a track record of achieving business targets
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong technical and IT skills, including reporting and mobile systems
Relevant certifications such as Front Line Leadership or project management qualification (desirable)
Current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
