What You'll Do
- Define and apply governance standards that ensure hospital health records are accurate, consistent, and secure
- Evaluate and improve how clinical, operational, and administrative health data is structured and managed for AI use
- Identify gaps in data quality, documentation, and compliance — and recommend practical, enforceable solutions
- Assess data workflows across clinical, IT, and compliance functions to surface governance risks and opportunities
- Provide structured, expert feedback on health data systems, policies, and frameworks that inform AI model development
- Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA
- Skilled at evaluating data quality, consistency, and compliance across complex health environments
- Comfortable working cross-functionally — you understand how clinical, technical, and administrative teams interact
- Detail-oriented and systematic, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving data issues
- Clear and confident written communicator who can document findings precisely
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in health informatics, clinical data warehousing, or EHR systems
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or similar standards
- Experience with data quality tools, MDM systems, or clinical analytics platforms
- Advanced credentials in health information management (RHIA, RHIT, CPHIMS, or equivalent)
