The Role

We are seeking an ambitious

Contract Administrator with approximately 3-7 years of construction experience to join the team. Reporting to an experienced Project Manager and working closely with one of the company's Directors, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of high-profile industrial construction projects.

This role is ideally suited to someone looking to take the next step in their career, gain exposure to larger and more complex projects, and progress within a supportive, high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering and package letting
  • Prepare and administer subcontract agreements and contract documentation
  • Assess and process subcontractor progress claims and variations
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasting
  • Assist with monthly cost reporting and financial reporting requirements
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage variations and final accounts
  • Maintain accurate project records and contractual documentation
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Site Teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
  • Support the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion

About You

  • 3-7 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
  • Experience delivering projects valued at $10m+ is highly regarded
  • Background in new build, fit out or refurbishment projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract administration principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to learn and progress
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
