Senior Business Analyst

Aspriante is partnering with the Queensland Revenue Office (QRO) to recruit two Senior Business Analysts for key ICT and business change initiatives within a Queensland Government environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Senior BAs who enjoy working across complex stakeholder groups, unpacking current-state processes, shaping future-state requirements and supporting meaningful government service delivery.

The Opportunity

You will lead business analysis activities across priority initiatives involving technology, fines management and business process improvement. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will support discovery, requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder engagement and delivery of high-quality project artefacts.

• Leading discovery, requirements gathering and analysis activities
• Facilitating workshops across business and technical stakeholder groups
• Reviewing current-state processes, pain points and customer journeys
• Developing process maps, user stories, requirements and recommendations
• Supporting future-state process design and business improvement activities
• Contributing to test planning and execution where required
• Producing high-quality documentation and project artefacts
• Supporting handover, adoption and uplift of capability across BAU teams

What We’re Looking For You will bring

• Strong senior business analysis experience across ICT and business change projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end requirements and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent workshop facilitation skills
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• High-quality documentation skills and experience working to templates and standards
• Experience in Queensland Government, public sector, governance, procurement, compliance or privacy environments will be highly regarded
