· Strong experience in Objectstar Development, including Objectstar migration projects

· Demonstrated experience with COBOL and JCL development in enterprise environments

· Strong understanding of software development methodologies, release management and software configuration practices

· Current NV1 Security Clearance

We are currently seeking an experienced Objectstar Software Engineer (Developer) to join our Federal Government client, supporting the development, enhancement and maintenance of critical business systems and digital services. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining complex software solutions while providing technical leadership across development activities.

Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions that support essential government services. You will work closely with Architects, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Testers to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable applications.

Key Requirements

· Create software and technical designs for complex development solutions

· Develop, test, document and maintain high-quality application code

· Provide technical leadership and advice on software development and maintenance activities

· Support software releases, deployments and production go-live activities

· Perform analysis, design, prototyping, unit testing and ongoing maintenance activities

· Analyse technical requirements and contribute to solution evaluation and design recommendations

· Ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies, standards and security requirements
