Network Security Architect

Your new company

You will lead a major network infrastructure uplift across critical, high-availability environments. You will drive design assurance, delivery sequencing, and multi-site rollout activities. You will work across wired and wireless networks, ensuring secure, resilient connectivity across complex operational sites

Your new role

Lead end-to-end delivery

• Plan and sequence large-scale network refresh activities
• Oversee design, pilot deployments, rollout, and decommissioning
• Manage delivery across multiple sites with minimal disruption

Provide technical assurance

• Validate vendor designs, proposals, and change requests
• Ensure alignment with architecture standards and cyber requirements
• Resolve complex issues across network, cabling, and infrastructure layers

Drive stakeholder engagement

• Lead technical discussions with internal teams and external partners
• Coordinate across multi-agency environments
• Influence decisions and maintain delivery momentum

Support procurement and governance

• Develop scopes of work and technical input for procurement
• Validate vendor pricing and delivery assumptions
• Ensure compliance with Commonwealth governance frameworks

Manage risk and outcomes

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks
• Maintain governance integrity and approvals
• Deliver outcomes aligned to program objectives

What you'll need to succeed

• NV1
• Proven experience leading complex network infrastructure programs in secure or mission-critical environments
• Strong capability in network design assurance and multi-site rollout delivery
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, switching, and physical infrastructure
• Experience with Aruba, Cisco, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of procurement, governance, and risk management
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical and operational teams
