Your New Role
As a Senior Technical Officer, you will provide high-quality ICT support within a customer-focused service centre environment.
Working across a predominantly Microsoft ecosystem, you will be responsible for delivering technical support, resolving incidents, maintaining ICT infrastructure, and ensuring service levels are achieved.
Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
Supporting ICT operations both remotely and on-site across various locations.
Configuring, installing, monitoring, and maintaining ICT hardware and software environments.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents within agreed service levels.
Managing and escalating incidents through ITSM processes where required.
Supporting desktop environments, applications, and end-user technologies.
Developing and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and work instructions.
Assisting with project delivery and technical implementations.
Delivering user training and guidance on ICT systems and applications.
Mentoring team members and contributing to continuous service improvement.
Working within ITIL and ServiceNow-based service management frameworks.
What You Will Need To Succeed
Strong experience providing ICT support in a corporate or government environment.
Technical expertise across Microsoft desktop and end-user computing environments.
Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
Knowledge of ITSM processes and service delivery frameworks.
Experience using or supporting ServiceNow and ITIL practices will be highly regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service capabilities.
Experience creating technical documentation and support materials.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and mentor junior staff.
A current C Class Driver's Licence will be highly desirable.
