How you will make an impact
The kitchen cleaning supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising and lead cleaning staff, ensuring high cleanliness standards are maintained and completing end of shift audits and report, assuring Cabrini resources are managed in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Position is Full Time, Mon-Fri, 2:00PM – 10:00PM.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and supervise cleaning operations (oversee and coordinate kitchen cleaning staff, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure cleaning duties are completed and efficiently and on schedule)
Maintain food safety and compliance standards
Train, coach and support staff (provide training on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, hygiene practices, and company policies while promoting professionalism and teamwork.)
Monitor quality and conduct inspections
Manage resources, equipment and documentation (oversee the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment and PPE, assist with stocktakes, and maintain accurate records in the Monika system.)
Coordinate communication and operational support (maintain effective communication with supervisors, chefs, and kitchen staff, ensure smooth shift handovers, respond to urgent cleaning issues, and support daily kitchen operations as needed.)
About you
Relevant industry experience - previous experience in hospital kitchen cleaning, food services, or hospitality cleaning environments is preferred.
Leadership capability - experience supervising, leading, or coordinating a cleaning team is highly regarded.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer and service focus - professional approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of service and supporting operational needs.
Problem-solving and organisational skills - ability to use initiative, solve problems, manage competing priorities, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
