What You'll Be Doing
Human Resources Business Partner (Health Manager Level 2)
It is an exciting time at Northern Beaches Hospital! Now that the transition to Northern Sydney Local Health District is complete the work to support our people has never been more important.
Working closely with the People & Culture Manager you will be a trusted advisor and business partner to leaders and their teams across the hospital, delivering workforce initiatives and improving employee experience for our 2000 (approx) staff.
In This Role, You Will
- Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders to deliver people-focused solutions across the full employee lifecycle.
- Provide expert coaching and advice on a broad range of P&C matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, retention and leadership capability.
- Partner with leaders to navigate organisational change and support the successful delivery of change initiatives.
- Provide employee relations guidance and end-to-end case management support.
- Drive continuous improvement within the P&C function by identifying opportunities to innovate and strengthen HR partnering practices.
- Anticipate workforce and organisational needs, delivering proactive and strategic HR solutions.
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced and complex environment.
You bring a strong foundation in contemporary HR and employee relations practices, along with the confidence to influence, coach and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR function.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the public sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and provide trusted advice.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with a strong focus on outcomes.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, high-performing and supportive team.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or working towards such and/or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
- Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, change, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, relevant employment and Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards.
