As a Claims Specialist working within wage subsidies, you will be part of a successful not-for-profit organisation that is making a significant impact in the community. You will be responsible for reviewing a range of documentary evidence provided by our sites, ensuring that this information is valid before processing the claim payments on their behalf. Additionally, you will identify and pursue potential outcomes and provide/advise information to staff on contractual requirements.

Please be aware this position is a 12 month max term contract

To be considered, you must:

  • Have full Australian working rights
  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
  • Be able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Experience in Employment Services, Claims experience highly desirable

  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with agencies
  • Strong attention to detail especially regarding compliance
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated high-level professionalism, attention to detail and compliance focused
  • Ability to interpret contractual guidelines and apply them as appropriate
  • Ability to work within KPIs and demonstrated experience in exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment
  • Sound computer literacy and data management skills

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred but not essential)
